Sarah Ferguson Storms Out Of Australian TV Interview 60 Minutes, After Footage Shown Of Cash-For-Access Scandal (PICTURES)

Sarah Ferguson Throws Right Royal Strop, Storms Out Of Interview

Sarah Ferguson has managed to create a bit of controversy on the other side of the world, after storming out of an interview after being shown the footage of her cash-for-access scandal.

During her interview with Michael Usher for esteemed current affairs programme 60 Minutes, the Duchess of York was "ambushed" and ridiculed, according to her Australian representative John Scott.

Channel Nine later aired footage of Ferguson getting out of her chair and leaving the interview as part of its promotions for the show, due to be aired on Sunday evening, despite Scott's request that the footage be deleted.

In their ads, Nine called the segment with Ferguson "the weirdest interview you will ever see".

Scott told Australia's Herald Sun newspaper: "We had gone through all the questions and subject matter beforehand.

"She did walk out when she was ambushed - no, it was entrapment - but after cooling down she said to me, 'f--- them, let's do this' and she did."

60 Minutes producer Hamish Thomson responded to Scott's complaints: "She agreed to talk about the issue as she has already extensively done - so it certainly wasn't 'entrapment'."
