Boy Stabbed In Same Spot As Student Killed For Conker Row

A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the same spot where Steven Grisales was killed after remonstrating with conker-throwing youths, Scotland Yard has said.

The incident occurred in Edmonton, north London at around 18:50 on Wednesday, just weeks after Grisales was murdered while out on a shopping errand for his grandmother at around the same time in the evening.

The latest victim has been taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition, and two people have been arrested in connection with the assault.

Grisales, 21, was killed after he remonstrated with a group of youths throwing conkers at him as he walked towards Silver Street railway station last month.

But moments later he was knifed in the heart. He died of his wounds in hospital the next day.

Grisales, who came to London from Argentina, had been planning to start a three-year architectural course this month as part of a scholarship from Westminster College.

Four people have been arrested in connection with his murder. Two 15-year-old boys were held on Monday and remain in custody at a north London police station.

A 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl arrested on Friday have been bailed until next month.
