PRESS ASSOCIATION -- One Direction are reported to star in their very own road movie.
The X Factor runners-up - who have just gone straight to number one with their first single What Makes You Feel Beautiful - already have a legion of fans who follow them everywhere they go, and are used to performing for the cameras after meeting on the reality show and living together in the X Factor house.
Simon Cowell is said to be putting some of his own money towards filming One Direction as they head to the US to work on their first album, in the movie made by James Corden's TV firm Fulwell73 for ITV2, the Sun reports.
Cowell is apparently convinced that the boyband - made up of 18-year-olds Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, 17-year-old Harry Styles and 19-year-old Louis Tomlinson - are going to be the biggest act ever produced by the X Factor.
He recently said: "You're going to see an explosion happen here the likes of which we haven't seen since Take That - and I think that's exciting."
