It looks like X Factor host Dermot O'Leary has taken a step in the wrong direction - at least in the Daily Mail's eyes.
The newspaper, which is famed for its hate of brown shoes, has singled him out for his "questionable fashion choices".

The crime? According to Ephraim Hardcastle, O'Leary: "Wore brown shoes with his grey suit on Saturday's show".
Comparing his crime against fashion to the moment Dr Liam Fox wore brown shoes for his 50th birthday party, the Mail adds: "'Never brown in town used to be the rule."
Ah, the good old days.
