All I Want For Christmas Is (To Come Home): Crew On HMS Ocean Sing Christmas Hit

Aviation crew on HMS Ocean, the largest ship in the royal navy, made a Christmas DVD singing ‘All I want for Christmas is You’ after hearing they will be back in Britain for Christmas after seven and a half months away.

Mouthing the words to Mariah Carey’s hit single, the aviation crew on board the naval ship, pose semi naked holding life float rings, waving spanners and even pop out from toilet cubicles.

Reminiscent of the British Army's rendition of 'Is This The Way To Amarillo' filmed in Iraq, this crew will be very happy to be reach British shores on 9 December 2011. The sailors have missed their children’s exam results, summer holidays, and five people have even had to go home so they wouldn’t miss their own weddings.

The ship has been diverted to Libya and other operations, while at home babies were born and one father even missed his own daughter’s graduation.

After 176 days at sea, its clear that despite their sense of humour that this crew will be happy to come home. Let's wish the sailors a safe passage home.
