A 23-year-old woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of a mother who had apparently complained about loud music from a party.
Emma Louise Jones, 30, died in hospital after being stabbed in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to neighbours, the mother-of-one was attacked after asking for music in a nearby block of flats in Penygroes, North Wales.
Last night Alwen Eluned Jones, of Llanllyfni was charged with murder and appeared in court today. She was remanded in custody.
Another two people who were also arrested in connection with the incident were released on police bail without charge.
Miss Jones, whose five-year-old son is believed to have learning difficulties, was driven part the way to hospital by car, before she was collected by ambulance.
A police spokesman said: ‘Police can now confirm that Emma died as a result of a stab wound she received.
‘The police have trained family liaison officers supporting the family of the deceased.’
