Launches Facebook Timeline Business Cards

Facebook Timeline Business Cards Launched For Self-Involved Social Networkers

Thanks to Facebook it sometimes seems like we've evolved past meeting people in person and actually talking to them., the online business card and printing specialists based in East London, want to change all that. Or at least combine the two.

They've worked with Facebook to come up with a range of business cards that take information straight from your shiny new Timeline and reproduce it on springy printed cardboard.

You're then free to travel around the world and hand out your personal information to real life people.

Moo say that you can customise exactly what appears on the cards - including pictures, quotes, updates and more.

They're also offering the first 200,000 Facebook users to sign up to the service 50 free cards for their trouble. The usual cost for 50 cards will be £10.

"Timeline helps people tell their story on Facebook and feature the parts of their life that mean the most to them," said Jillian Stefanki, a spokeswoman for Facebook. "The integration makes it possible for people to take the same experience with them offline."

Moo founder Richard Moross said the customisable cards were a response to "the lines between online social networking and offline business networking not just blurring, but vanishing".
