After a weekend of blizzards and showers, get ready for sunshine. Spring is on its way, according to weather forecasters at the Met Office.
By Thursday, temperatures could be as high as 16 or 17 degrees Celsius - with lucky residents in the West Midlands getting most of the sunshine.
"It is going to turn milder as we go through the week," a Met Office spokesperson said. "Thursday will be the mildest day, and we could see temperatures 15 or 16 Celsius in Eastern Scotland."
But keep your brolly with you until then, because it looks like rain on Wednesday: "There will be some light rain around on Wednesday, with temperatures not quite as high as they will be on Thursday. There could be wintry showers around in the capital," the Met Office said.
"The wettest day for the whole of the UK is likely to be Wednesday. It looks as though Wednesday is going to be quite windy as well."
