Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed the title for his memoirs, and you'll be really surprised to learn he's naming it Total Recall. His forthcoming book borrows its title from the 1990 sci-fi smash in which he starred alongside Sharon Stone and Rachel Ticotin.
An interesting choice for the Last Action Hero, as the film's remake is set for release this autumn.
Directed by Len Wiseman, it stars Colin Farrell as Quaid (Arnie's former character), along with Kate Beckinsale (Mrs Wiseman) and Jessica Biel.
You could say Arnie's film is a tough act to follow - it had huge box office success, received countless award nominations and scooped an Oscar for its visual effects – although, saying that, it doesn't seem to be getting in the way of hype and anticipation for the remake.
In a bit of multi-million dollar advertising synergy that can surely hurt neither party, at almost exactly the same time the title of Arnie's book was announced, the new cast yesterday took their first steps in front of the world's press in Mexico. The film's stars gathered with director Len Wiseman at the Summer of Sony 4 Spring Edition photo call in Cancun, Mexico.
