Abandoned in a hedgerow, take a look at this rare red baby squirrel, rescued by a dog in Inverness.
The squirrel is now recovering in the Scottish SPCA's care after being handed in by the dog-walker, where staff and visitors are going nuts for the super cute critter.
The rare red woodlander has been named 'Squirrelly' and is only a week old.
Centre manager Colin Seddon said, "Squirrelly really struggled when he first came in but he is now feeding well.
"It's likely he has fallen out of a tree as he is too young to be by himself.
Squirrelly: the week-old kit (baby squirrel)
And the baby squirrel is a high maintenance acquisition for the Highlands wildlife centre. Squirrelly is syringe-fed every two to three hours, between 6am and 11pm at the moment, although he is will soon be moved on to solid food.
"We'll be keeping handling to a minimum to ensure he doesn't become tame," Seddon added.
"Squirrelly will stay with us until he's about 10 weeks old and he'll then be released back into the wild."
