Ken Clarke Caught 'Chillaxing' During Cricket Match At Trent Bridge (PICTURES)

'My Young Friends Tell Me It's Called Chillaxing'

In Westminster he spends most of his days chilling-out, maxing, relaxing all cool. But it was Ken Clarke's day trip north to the cricket that found himself on the front page of the Guardian this morning.

The justice secretary was pictured with his head back enjoying a rather wide yawn while waggling his hush puppy free toes through a gap in the stands.

Quizzed about being "caught in repose" on BBC Radio 4's Today programme this morning, Clarke said he was simply enjoying a day in the sun.

"My young friends tell me it's called chillaxing," he added.

"I had a very enjoyable time at the test match, it was a very hot afternoon, England were in a leisurely way moving to their triumph, I think its a splendid way of just stealing a day off and coming back to the little problems of spies giving evidence in open court."

According to a new book, were ‘chillaxing’ to be made an Olympic sport, then David Cameron would be a dead cert for the gold medal.

However it seems as if Clarke would give him a (leisurely) run for his money as it is of course, not the first time he has been caught asleep at the wicket.

In March of 2011 he was spotted having a bit of a chillax during George Osborne's Budget. HuffPost can't really blame him for that one though.
