Police have appealed for information after an 81-year-old woman went missing from a Diamond Jubilee event.
Winifred Cartwright, from Birmingham, was visiting a fete in the village of Tanworth in Arden, Warwickshire, with her family yesterday afternoon.
She left the group to go to the lavatory at about 4.45pm but did not return, Warwickshire Police said.
Police, family members and other visitors at the event scoured the local area and further searches were carried out in the vicinity, but there has been no trace of Mrs Cartwright.
She is described as white, 5ft 3in and of slim build with grey hair and is missing some front teeth.
At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a dark pink jumper, a blue-grey dress, flat black shoes and possibly a mustard coloured raincoat.
A spokeswoman for Warwickshire Police said Mrs Cartwright is believed to be quite mobile and in good health, although has a medical condition that requires her to take medication which she did not have with her.
Police are urging anyone who was at the fete in Tanworth in Arden and saw Mrs Cartwright in the area near the lavatories, or leaving the site, to contact them on 101 or 01926 415000 as soon as possible.
If anyone sees Mrs Cartwright, or anyone matching her description today they are asked to dial 999 immediately.
