Did you know that Top Gear did live shows? Perhaps you did know that Top Gear did live shows. But did you know that Top Gear did live shows... all over the world? Including South Africa? And at said live shows, they perform jaw-dropping stunts?
Now by 'they' we of course mean 'The Stig' or another professional driver and not, say, James May in a racing outfit, but the fact remains: the Top Gear team were the first people to execute a double loop the loop on camera, and here's the video footage (above) to prove it.
Say what you like about Jeremy Clarkson and co. - and god knows you will - you've got to tip your cap at them for this one. Fortunately, for anyone who happened to not be in South Africa when this took place, the terrible trio will be back in the UK in August at the Birmingham NEC come October 25. So that's nice.
