Jeremiah McDonald was 12 when he decided to talk to himself in the future.
Now 32, McDonald dug out the video and recorded his responses.
The result is a haunting and funny look at how life changes everyone - and sometimes makes us forget about our dreams.
Of course some things never change. While the 12-year-old McDonald had a dog (now dead) and a cat (now dead) he also loved Doctor Who - and as the video reveals, that's still true, to an almost unhealthy degree.
