A Metropolitan Police officer has been sacked after drunkenly abusing a takeaway manager at a railway station.
Pc Philip Juhasz, 31, hurled abuse at Pakistani Umer Nazir, 23, at the Delice de France snack kiosk at King's Cross railway station last September.
The off-duty officer had demanded that food which was about to be thrown away was sold at a discounted price, before launching a foul-mouthed tirade when his order was refused.
Juhasz was convicted of a racially aggravated public order offence at Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 23.
He was thrown out of the force following a gross misconduct hearing earlier this month.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "A Metropolitan Police officer has been dismissed for breaching standards of professional behaviour, namely authority, respect and courtesy and discreditable conduct following a gross misconduct hearing on July 5.
"He was found guilty by magistrates of two offences contrary to section five of the public order act."
