The US has picked up another gold medal, winning the women's 4x400m relay on Saturday evening.
The team of DeeDee Trotter, Allyson Felix, Francena McCorory and Sanya Richards-Ross won the race at a canter, finishing just a second over the world record, far in front of Russian and Jamaica, who finished second and third.
Sanya Richards-Ross led the US to victory
Britain's Shana Cox, Lee McConnell, Eilidh Child and Christine Ohuruogu finished fifth
In Friday's heat, Team GB finished third behind the US and Russia.
The victors, who were 1/10 favourites before the race, clocked the fastest time for 19 years.
The win means the US have stretched their lead in the medal table to 42 gold medals, compared to second place China, who have 37. The UK sit comfortably third on 27 gold medals, with more likely in the boxing on Sunday.
