Time to hit the grid: the demo for F12012 is almost here.
The latest incarnation of Codemasters' flagship F1 racing title will be released on 21 September for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, with all-new career modes, improved handling, all the latest tracks and graphical enhancements.
The demo will launch this week, and feature the new Young Driver Test mode, in which drivers will learn to make the most of F1's fast, responsible and frankly absurd vehicles.
It will also feature a straight five-lap race around the iconic Monza circuit, where Lewis Hamilton stormed home in first place over the weekend.
HuffPost had a quick hands-on with the new game at the Gamescom conference in Cologne recently, and it seemed every bit as fun, realistic and carefully presented as the previous titles.
