'This Morning': Richard And Judy To Return To ITV Show For 25th Anniversary

Richard And Judy's 'This Morning' Return

Richard and Judy are to return to 'This Morning', the show they hosted from 1988 until 2001, for the show's 25th anniversary celebrations.

The much-loved married couple - full names Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan - will be heading back to the show's original home in Liverpool for the anniversary, Madeley told showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes.

They are arguably still the most easily recognised pair of British faces after two decades' conquest of daytime television.

They first met in 1982 when they worked on separate programmes for Granada TV and after leaving 'This Morning' went on to host a daily chat show for Channel 4 called 'Richard & Judy' from 2001 until 2009.

As for 'This Morning', which is now mainly hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby or Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, the show is still going strong, despite a history littered with controversial moments.

While some have been praised for breaking down social taboos – such as men checking their testicals for cancer – others have just been downright amusing.
