It is a case of Little Britain's Got Talent this year after a series of brilliant young acts wowed the judges on the talent search show.
There is also a European influence on the show, which starts on ITV tomorrow, with acts from as far afield as Hungary and Latvia.
Judge Amanda Holden said: "This year, Little Britain has got talent.
"It's mostly young kids, it's been amazing."
Speaking at a series launch in central London, Cowell said he was happy to bring in some foreign acts to keep the Brits on their toes and said it was "quite flattering" that they applied to take part.
He said: "It's interesting because in America I always wanted the Canadians to enter the show because I thought it would be a more exciting show having some Canadians compete with Americans.
"Everyone gets patriotic and I think the same with this show."
