A 23-year-old woman is in hospital with injuries to her arms after being savaged by a bulldog.
Police were called to a home in Baglan Street, Treherbert, South Wales, at 10pm last night.
"On arrival they found a 23-year-old female had been set upon by what is believed to be an American bulldog, sustaining injuries to her arms," a police spokesman said.
"The female was conveyed to Royal Glamorgan Hospital, (Llantrisant), for treatment to her injuries."
The spokesman said the owner of the dog had agreed for it to be destroyed.
