May Day! It's the day after 30 April and the day before 2 May.

It's also a reason to go slightly bonkers... if you're a student at Oxford University.

Traditionally, these bright kids used to fling themselves, like very well-educated lemmings, off Magdalen Bridge and into the River Cherwell. The crazies!

Sadly, the police have put a stop to this ancient ritual - but that doesn't stop some of the students still trying it, of course. Or indulging in other great May Day traditions like dressing up, carrying each other around and generally behaving like... well, posh students.
