Radio Controlled Superman Takes To The Skies Of San Diego (VIDEO)

In what must have been a pretty baffling and reality-questioning moment, San Diego saw a familiar figure soaring through its skies last week.

A life-size Superman flown by designer and former air force test pilot Otto Dieffenbach, to be precise.

Dieffenbach and his business partner Ed Hanley have been perfecting their 'Flyguys' for two years and have 15 different versions.

The models are made of styrofoam and use small propellors for thrust, and despite their unwieldy shape seem to fly pretty well reaching speeds of 30mph.
