Having spent most of the past year complaining about the cold and wet weather, most Britons now think it's too hot.
In a survey that confirms everything about our attitudes towards the weather, YouGov found that over two-thirds of us would rather the temperatures dropped.

26% said it was "far too hot", while 41% said it was "a little too hot".
Just 28% said it was "just about right" while a hardy 2% think it's not hot enough.

The first prolonged heatwave for seven years is set to give way to thunderstorms next week.
Just 26% of people though this summer would be hotter than last year's washout when they were asked in May, YouGov said.
