England World Cup Qualifying Quiz

It's been 20 years since England last failed to qualify for a World Cup. Ronald Koeman's tug on David Platt, Carlton Palmer and an early San Marino goal all featured in a dismal campaign, candidly caught on camera, which culminated in Graham Taylor's sacking. Did he not like that.

Roy Hodgson could be forgiven for extra motivation ahead of Friday's qualifier against Montenegro, a team England have drawn against three times in the last three years, because the Three Lions' final qualifier is at home to Poland.

Memories of Jan "the Clown" Tomaszewski's heroics and Peter Shilton's blunder in 1973 will be fresher on Tuesday should England, just a point ahead of Ukraine in Group H, not beat Montenegro.

How's your memory of England's qualifying campaigns?
