Charles Manson is set to be married again - or at least, that's what his biggest fan and supposed fiancee claims.
The notorious murderer, 79, spends hours every weekend with a 25-year-old woman known only as 'Star', who bears an uncanny resemblance to Manson Family member Susan Atkins and who has recently carved an X into her forehead to match his swastika.
Star, who runs multiple websites calling the killer's release, said she knows she will be his wife.
"I'll tell you straight up, Charlie and I are going to get married," Star told Rolling Stone. "I take it very seriously. Charlie is my husband. Charlie told me to tell you this."
If the marriage goes ahead it will be Manson's third marriage. He has three children.
Star told the magazine that she started writing to Manson when she was 19. In 2007, she moved to California, to be closer to the Corcoran State Prison, where her beau Manson is serving a life sentence.
"Yeah, well, people can think I'm crazy," she said. "But they don't know. This is what's right for me. This is what I was born for."
Manson, however, has a different story. "That's a bunch of garbage ... That's trash," Manson said. "We're just playing that for public consumption."
In a bizarre new interview, the former cult leader, also hinted at a more fluid sexuality saying: "Sex to me is like going to the toilet."
Charles Manson hinted he is bisexual and protested his innocence in the chilling and unrepentant new interview with Rolling Stone.
"Sex to me is like going to the toilet," he said. "Whether it's a girl or not, it doesn't matter. I don't play that girl-guy s***. I'm not hung up in that game."
He also recounted an incident from when he was 17 in which he said he asked a man to have sex, and when the man refused, he brandished a knife and promised to take the blame if they were caught. The man agreed.
"I picked a razor blade up off the shower floor and said, 'If we get caught, I'll tell them I made you do it.' So, he let me do it. But I don't know. Maybe he thought I was going to cut him," he said.
Manson infamously brainwashed members of his commune into murdering nine people including film director Roman Polanski's pregnant wife Sharon Tate in July and August 1969.
He has boasted of how he now heads a group of America's most notorious murderers and rapists in jail, including Phillip Garrido, who raped and held 11-year Jaycee Dugard prisoner for 18-years.
He also revealed how much of his time behind bars is spent answering 'fanmail" - of which he receives thousands of pieces every year.
