Disney has revealed an incredible new computer model for simulating snow.
The new tech is able to create a realistic "point" model of snow, which other objects can smash apart in a way that is almost indistinguishable from real life.
The method was used for the new Disney movie Frozen, and presented at Siggraph.
It makes everything from snowballs to snowdrifts, ice storms and frozen continents possible to model in almost real time.
