A "naked and erratic" driver has been arrested after a dramatic high-speed chase on the M1.
The naked man was pursued by six police cars and a helicopter after Hertfordshire Police were called by concerned motorists who reported seeing him driving a white Ford Transit panel van on the southbound carriageway.
The pursuit ended on the North Orbital Road (A414) near the London Colney roundabout where it connects with London Road, St Albans.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon at around 3.30pm.
A 21-year-old man from Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle without its owner's consent, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
He has been released on police bail until Thursday March 20.
