Following the sentencing of Michael Adebolajo, 29, and Michael Adebowale, 22, for the killing of Lee Rigby in Woolwich, Professor Peter Neumann of King’s College London talked to Paxman about the psychology of radicalisation and whether, having been given a life and 45-year sentence respectively, there would be any motivation for murderers to abandon their fanatical beliefs.
