A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was fatally stabbed in a London street in the middle of the day.
Police and paramedics were called to Bruce Grove, Tottenham, London, just before 1pm on Wednesday.
The victim, aged 40 or 50, was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A 46-year-old man who was arrested at the scene is being questioned at a police station in north London.
Some roads in the area have been closed, Scotland Yard said.
The force said it is not yet clear whether the arrested man is known to the victim.
