Kate Bush Tickets Sell Out In 15 Minutes

Tickets for Kate Bush’s 22 dates at the Eventim Apollo sold out in just fifteen minutes this morning, leaving fans on Twitter either celebrating their joy at bagging a seat or swearing furiously at the screen.

Understandably, the ‘Wuthering Heights’ singer is delighted at the super quick sales, stating this morning: “I’m completely overwhelmed by the response to the shows.

“Thank you so much to everyone. Looking forward to seeing you all later this year”.

As expected, the internet descended into a state of panic when the tickets went on sale at 9.30am this morning, priced at between £49 and £145.

Hospitality packages priced at over £400 per person have also been snapped up by fans excited to see Kate perform live.

Plenty of fans have shared their thoughts on the matter on Twitter - leading to the phrase 'No Kate Bush' becoming a top trend.

"I got tickets for Kate Bush!!!!!!!! So chuffed. Can't wait. Anyone else managed it?" posted one Twitter user, though sadly as lot of fans missed out.

Of course, there were plenty of hilarious reactions as well...

The singer hasn’t toured since her 28-date European tour in 1979 and rarely appears in public, though she did make a rare appearance in 2013 at Buckingham Palace to receive a CBE from the Queen.

In 2011, Kate released an album entitled ‘50 Words For Snow’ which peaked at number 5 in the UK Album Chart.
