'Nebraska' was the surprise entry for this year's Oscar shortlist, including a popular nomination for the film's ragged and rugged star Bruce Dern.
Bruce plays an ageing, booze-addled father who makes the trip from Montana to Nebraska with his estranged son in order to claim a million-dollar Mega Sweepstakes Marketing prize.
The film was nominated for Best Picture at this year's Oscars, with Alexander Payne also recognised in the Director shortlist, and Bob Nelson for his screenplay.
Bruce scooped a nomination in the lead role, along with June Squibb for the role of Kate, and . It also received five Golden Globe nominations and further accolades from festivals around the world.
