As part of our new Skills Space section, L'Oreal gave us a sneak peek inside the life of one of their graduate employees, James Wilkinson, a former industrial economics student at Nottingham University. He's currently on the management training scheme and says it's been "rewarding, exciting and fast-paced" so far.

James, who completed the summer internship at the company, has already worked on LOOK magazine, advised on TV adverts and helped make decisions with huge budgets.
His top tip? "Always have an opinion. It's absolutely fundamental to really be able to put your own spin on something and make your own adjustments."
