A baby squirrel is on the mend after falling out of her nest and breaking her ankle.
The tiny creature also suffered a broken tooth and a bloody nose when she plummeted into a concrete pavement.
Thankfully she is in the capable hands of City Wildlife, Washington DC’s first wildlife rehabilitation centre.

From City Wildlife's Facebook page: “This baby squirrel was brought into City Wildlife after she fell 75 feet from her nest on to the concrete sidewalk below.
"She suffered a bloody nose, a broken tooth, and a broken ankle. Luckily, just like children, this squirrel is young enough that her ankle should heal very quickly. Send her your well wishes on a speedy recovery!”
Reminds us of this little lady, who was also decked out in pink casts after suffering burns to her paws...
