Can Money Buy You Happiness? (Yes, If Spent In The Right Way)

Money Can Buy Happiness (If Spent In The Right Way)

While many would argue that money can't buy happiness, but, apparently, it can - if spent in the right way.

According to researchers, if you think a fancy car or over-priced handbag is going to make you happier, you're mistaken.

A pay rise, lottery win or lavish expenditure can make someone feel happy - but the mood soon wears off.

Instead the key to happiness is how you spend your money, rather than how much is in the bank.

According to findings from ASAP Science, those who spend money on others are happier. And while those who spend on themselves aren't necessarily happier - their happiness is unchanged.

From trivial gifts to large charity donations, the size of the gift doesn't matter - the key is giving to others.
