David Cameron is really very sorry for hiring Andy Coulson as his chief spin doctor at No 10 Downing Street, saying: "It was the wrong decision and I am very clear about that."

The Prime Minister pleaded for the public's forgiveness today after Coulson was found guilty of plotting to hack phones, insisting that he was assured that Coulson didn't know about phone hacking and that he apologised "unreservedly".

This apology is just the latest for Cameron, who is getting rather good at saying sorry. So good in fact, that HuffPostUK has rounded up a list of all the times he had to apologise.
