Luisa Zissman Admits Prime Minister Ambitions, But Says Politicians 'Don't Get Paid Enough'

'I Do Think I Could Be Prime Minister'

Luisa Zissman has certainly set her sights high after admitting in a new interview that she hopes to become Prime Minister in the future.

The ‘Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’ panelist, who first found fame when she finished in second place on ‘The Apprentice’, makes the claims during a chat in the latest issue of Zoo magazine.

She explains: “I do think I could be Prime Minister and the nation would be far better off with me in charge.”

However, anyone hoping to see Luisa wheeling her luggage into 10 Downing Street shouldn’t hold their breath just yet, as she goes on to reveal that she won’t be turning her back on baking and TV work for the time being as politics doesn’t pay much.

Luisa adds: “I love politics, although politicians don’t get paid enough, so I’m not convinced it’s a feasible career path for me.”

If she were to become Prime Minister, though, we think Luisa would have to learn to be a little more diplomatic when discussing her opponents, having previously branded UKIP leader Nigel Farage a “total bell end” in her newspaper column back in May.

Later in her interview, the businesswoman compares herself to Katie Price, who she describes as “savvy and astute”, though she goes on to admit: “I’ve heard she’s not keen on me, though!”

Never mind, Luisa. Perhaps you can clear the air over dinner at the Houses of Parliament, once you’re inevitably been elected Prime Minister...
