Richard Madeley has revealed what he thinks is the key to his long-lasting marriage to fellow TV personality Judy Finnigan - and it’s a little more graphic than we were hoping for.
Apparently the secret to a happy marriage - according to Richard and Judy, who have now been married for 28 years - is sex, and plenty of it.

Richard didn’t leave it there though, unfortunately, and went on to explain why he feels sex is so important, even in relationships that have spanned decades.
Speaking to the Mirror, he said: “I think relationships can evolve to a point in old age where sex becomes less important - but I am 58, not 98.
“In most dynamic marriages, sex is a very important component. You can deny that at your peril.”
And as if all that surely wasn’t enough, Richard also emphasised the importance of “sexual compatibility” with your spouse, adding: “One of the reasons that most marriages fail is because there is a growing sexual incompatibility. It has to be an important part of the equation.
"Research shows most happily married people in their 70s and 80s still have a functioning sex life and so they should. It’s one of the most fundamental aspects of humanity.”
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time the former ‘This Morning’ host has given us an insight into at his marriage, previously revealing that he and Judy have a pact to help each other die should one of them become terminally ill.
Earlier this year, he said: “If Judy was really ill and in logical mind, and at that point where you just need a little push to go over the edge, I wouldn’t give a tuppenny f*** if there was a risk of being prosecuted.”
