‘X Factor' 2014: Tulisa To Make TV Return After Drugs Trial? Bosses Also 'Hopeful Madonna Will Perform'

Tulisa Contostavlos and Madonna could both be making an appearance on the upcoming series of ‘X Factor’, according to reports.

However, while Madonna’s being lined up for a performing slot on the show, Tulisa could be returning to help decide which contestants make it through to the final.

The former judge hasn’t exactly had the easiest year and now, Simon Cowell is reportedly set to invite her back on the show as Louis Walsh’s helper at the Judges’ Houses stage.

According to The Sun, Tulisa and Louis will fly out to Bermuda to film the show within the next month.

“This is a massive deal for Tulisa,” a source tells the paper. “She is determined to get her career back on track and having Simon’s support means a lot.”

Louis and Tulisa are thought to have kept in contact following her departure from the show.

Meanwhile, Madge is apparently being lined up to perform during one of the live shows.

“It’s looking very hopeful Madonna will perform, possibly in November on one of the live shows,” another source explains to The Sun. “There are a lot of big names releasing music at that time, but she’s absolutely the number one name we are trying to secure.

“She needs her next album to be a success in the UK and a performance on ITV in front of 12 million people would be the best platform.”

‘X Factor’ will return to TV screens in September.

While bosses are remaining tight-lipped on this year’s contestants, it’s thought that Rob Pattinson’s sister Lizzy has made it past the audition stages.

During last week’s auditions, Simon was absent due to illness, however, his fellow judges didn’t exactly miss him much.
