‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will be welcoming Donny Osmond as a guest judge later this year, it has been announced.
The showbiz veteran, who won the US version of ‘Strictly’ in 2009, will join the panel for one week, before giving his own special musical performance during the Sunday results show.

Donny is understandably excited to give his verdict on this year’s dancers, however, he won’t be going easy on them.
“It's a huge honour to be asked to guest judge on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’,” he says. “I know what it's like to hold that trophy in your hand and believe me, it's worth all the blood, sweat and tears you put into your dances.
“I'm going to be a tough judge and the contestants are really going to have to give me their all."
This year, Donny is celebrating 50 years in showbiz. During that time he has sold over 100 million records and currently performs in Las Vegas with his sister Marie.
The 2014 ‘Strictly’ launch show took place earlier this month, and the dancing officially begins next week (27 September).
Rehearsals may have only just begun, however, there’s already talk of a ‘Strictly’ romance as one couple have reportedly been enjoying secret dates.
