More of us than ever will be ordering presents online this year, rather than making the trek to the shops.
But you could be cutting it fine if you're ordering online this week - and things don't always go to plan as courier firm Yodel proved when it announced parcels will be delayed due to huge Christmas demand.
Make sure you're aware of the last online order dates from big retailers like Asda, John Lewis, Waterstones, ASOS, Next, Topshop and Apple, so you don't end up empty-handed when you planned a thoughtful gift.
This handy infographic from Parcel2Go, the parcel delivery comparison website, shows the crucial dates to bear in mind for online ordering from today.
Remember that express and next-day delivery options (indicated with a red trolley) may be more expensive than standard charges.
The most flexible are Argos, O2, Interflora and Tesco, which let you order using their standard delivery charges up until the 23rd December - just two days before Christmas.
In the case of Debenhams, however, you already have to order with express or next-day delivery to ensure purchases make it before Christmas. Moonpig.com and Burton stop sending out orders on the 18th of December.
