When the countdown for 2015 begins and the champagne is opened, the likelihood is that you'll probably just use your hands, or if you're feeling really cocky, a kitchen knife.
What you won't be using is a .50 cal sniper rifle, and honestly, that's probably for the best.
That said, it does make us wonder: if you can de-cork a bottle with a sword, why can't you do it with a bullet?
Well it turns out you can albeit after a lot of practice. The folks over at FullMag have done us the courtesy of trying it out and proving that if you're a good enough shot -- and there's no one in the firing range -- then this might be the best way to de-cork a champagne bottle.
