McDonald's Addict Who Blew £450 On Big Macs Each Month Drops Five Dress Sizes And Becomes Instagram Icon

A McDonald's addict who used to fork out £450 a month on Big Macs has had a major lifestyle overhaul and is now an inspirational diet guru on Instagram.

Lauren Wallis from Suffolk dropped five dress sizes after giving birth to her daughter Mia and joining a slimming club.

The 25-year-old, who used to weigh over 14 stone, would often eat at McDonald's three times a day - and was even able to devour a whopping seven hotdogs in one sitting.

Since adopting a radical diet change, Wallis has shared her weight-loss journey on Instagram, documenting her progress of dropping from a size 18 to a size 8 in just four months.

The major source of fitspiration has now attracted over 25,000 followers by posting diet inspiration as well as 'before and after' shots of her transformation.

She told the Mirror: “I share ‘before and after’ photos of myself to help inspire others and people write lovely comments complimenting me on my achievement. I really believe that if I can lose weight anybody can, and I want to show other people that it is doable if you put your mind to it."

“I am a working mum and I understand how hard it can be to stay on track.”

Wallis' diet before her weight loss consisted of a huge bowl of Coco Pops for breakfast, a McDonald's breakfast and chocolate milkshake for brunch, a foot-long Subway sandwich and cookies for lunch and then a Fray Bentos pie or Indian takeaway for dinner.

Now, Wallis' diet consists of a bowl of porridge for breakfast, a salad for lunch and a low-fat homemade curry, spaghetti and meatballs, or paella for dinner.

Wallis added: “I am a much happier and more confident person now that I have lost weight, and I want to inspire other people to feel the same way.”
