At it's most expensive, Apple's latest iPhone accessory costs £13,500. Why on earth would it cost that much?
The folks at College Humour have released this useful video pointing out the exact reason.
It turns out the gold Apple Watch is so pricey so that you can have a reminder of how rich you are constantly mounted on your wrist for the rest of time (or until it's obsolete and you need to buy a new one next year).
There is actually a few cheaper models. You can pick one up for as little as £299, but you also need an iPhone to use one, which will set you back a lot more. Oh, and the straps cost £39-£379.
