This year’s Glastonbury line-up is yet to be revealed, but its organisers Michael and Emily Eavis aren’t exactly short on options when it comes to picking acts to perform, with James Bay the latest star to throw his hat in the ring.
The Brits Critics’ Choice Award winner is set for a busy year, and his upcoming headline tour has already sold out - even though his debut album isn’t out yet.
When asked if he’d be taking to the stage at Glasto 2015, James told HuffPost UK: “My fingers are crossed tightly right now! I hope so, I really hope so.
“They [the organisers] keep their cards very close to their chest, but I got to play there for the first time ever last year and I would love to taste that again.”
So far, just a handful of acts have been announced for this year’s event, but if James does nab a place on the bill, he’ll be in good company.
Florence Welch, of Florence And The Machine fame, has hinted that she could be making an appearance at Worthy Farm, while other rumoured acts include Oasis and Coldplay.
James’s debut album ‘Chaos And The Calm’ is out on 23 March.
