'Britain's Got Talent' Singer Isaac Waddington 'Signs Up To Simon Cowell's Syco Record Label'

Simon Cowell 'Signs Up' Teenage 'BGT' Singer

Britain’s Got Talent’ finalist Isaac Waddington has signed to Simon Cowell’s record label, it has been claimed.

The teenage singer finished in fifth place in this year’s final - ahead of Simon’s ‘golden buzzer’ act, Calum Scott - and has reportedly impressed the music mogul so much that he’s been snapped up by his record label Syco.

While ‘X Factor’ champions automatically win a place on Simon’s label, he’s also known to sign up acts who impress him from both ‘BGT’ and ‘X Factor’, regardless of where they finish in the competition, including Susan Boyle, One Direction and Tamera Foster.

However, anyone expecting an album of Isaac’s acoustic covers to hit the shelves in the next few weeks might be disappointed to learn that Simon is planning to “take his time” with Isaac’s debut release.

“He writes his own material and proved he can perform live completely unfazed.”
