Police are investigating how a two-year-old boy was found walking unaccompanied on a Manchester street in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The toddler was discovered wandering in Curlew Road in Oldham at 6.25am wearing grey and blue pyjamas and blue wellington boots.
Police launched an urgent appeal as they attempted to located his parents – succeeding two-and-a-half hours later.
