Wooden spoons at the ready people, ‘The Great British Bake Off’ is back, and this year’s contestants have finally been unveiled.

The six male and six female hopefuls heading off to the iconic ‘Bake Off’ tent this year include a Lithuanian bodybuilder, a tattooed musician, a firefighter, a prison officer and The Dalai Lama’s photographer (yes, really).
And with ages ranging from 19 to 66, we’re set to see a whole range of baking experience on display as the dozen amateur bakers take on 30 brand new challenges and try to impress Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood.
