Susan Boyle may have found fame thanks to her showstopping singing voice, but it seems the Scottish star is ready to go in a new direction.
The singer has revealed that she’s been giving acting a go, and taking classes to hone her skills.

Speaking to The Mirror, she reveals: “In June I went to a course run by a fantastic man called Bernard Hiller. He was brilliant. It was a masterclass in acting that was based in London for four days.
“He’s worked with some of the best people in Hollywood and he taught us how to resolve performance nerves and self discovery as well as inside-outside acting and how to be public with private emotions. It was brilliant and it’s really helped with my performance on stage as well.”
This isn’t Su-Bo’s first foray into acting though, and she previously made an appearance in the 2013 festive movie ‘The Christmas Candle’.
Susan is now hoping to appear in a film about her own life, and while it’s likely a huge Hollywood star will play Susan, she’s hoping to make a cameo.
“I think it would be fun to have me in the various crowd scenes- almost like a ‘Where’s Wally?’ See how many times you can spot the real Susan in the film,” she adds. “In all seriousness, I’m very excited about this project. The script is great and the team behind it are brilliant.”
Susan hasn’t exactly had the easiest year, and in June, she revealed that she’d been in contact with the police, after receiving a series of menacing phone calls.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star soon dealt with things though, and in July, she took a well-deserved break, heading to the Scottish music festival T In The Park for the weekend.
