NASA Scientist Explains Why You Need To Care About Arctic Melting

Not only are we battling the effects of climate change, and how to half them, but we've also got the task of persuade people global warming actually exists.

Dr Piers Sellers, a climate scientist with NASA, explained in just under two minutes exactly how the changes in the Arctic have a knock on effect for the rest of the world.

Sellers' perspective on climate change is pretty unique; as an astronaut he's witnessed the melting of the icecaps from space. As Climate Partners points out, the northern polar regions are heating up twice as fast as anywhere else on Earth.

And that spells trouble for all of us.
