UFO Crash Site Reportedly Discovered In Antarctica Through Google Maps

Google Maps has delivered a treasure trove of so-called evidence for UFO enthusiasts who believe they have found an alien craft buried in the Antarctic snow.

The find was made by Russian UFO-enthusiast Valentin Degterev.

He told The Mirror: "I found the unique object using the online service of Google Earth in Antarctica.

"In amongst the endless ice desert, it is the most genuine UFO in its most classic shape," he explained.

Batting away suggestions the discovery may belong to a plane or a helicopter, he added: "It is definitely not a polar station nor a plane as there aren't any airplanes or helicopters this big in the world."

He believes the object measures around 204-foot across.

Well, whatever it is the UK appears to be quite prepared for visitors.

Last week, researchers at UK Seti Research Network (UKSRN) decided to pen a letter to the extraterrestrial world.

Their to bid to make contact will enter an international competition titled Breakthrough Message -- an initiative launched in July by Stephen Hawking and Russian billionaire Yuri Milner.

The aim would be to create a digital message representing humanity and planet Earth. And the grand prize for accomplishing such a feat is $1,000,000.
